FAQ
Orders, Delivery and Returns
How do I know the items are authentic?
Every item undergoes a rigorous physical inspection by our expert team. For designer handbags and high-value luxury pieces, we further verify authenticity through LegitApp, a leading certification service that combines human expert authentication with AI authentication.
What condition are the items in?
As a curated resale boutique, our items range from "New with Tags" to "Gently Loved." We document every piece with high-resolution photography and detailed descriptions of any wear. We encourage you to review all photos and the description carefully before purchasing.
Do items come with their original packaging?
This varies by piece. If the original box, dust bag, or authenticity cards are available, they will be explicitly listed in the product description.
How much does delivery cost?
We offer secure, tracked shipping on all orders to ensure your luxury finds arrive safely. Our rates are based on the value of your order:
Orders up to £75: £6.00 via Royal Mail Tracked 48 (Signature Required).
Orders over £75: £9.00 via Royal Mail Special Delivery.
How long does shipping take?
Orders are typically dispatched within 1–2 working days. Delivery times vary depending on location and courier service.
Do you offer tracked shipping?
Yes. All orders are shipped using tracked services to ensure safe delivery.
Do you ship internationally?
International shipping may be available. Please contact us for current options and rates.
What is your return policy?
We want you to love your purchase! If you change your mind, we offer a 7-day return window for online orders:
Notify us and we'll then provide the return address.
Items must be returned in their original, unused condition with all Evelyn&Fox security tags intact. If the security tag is removed, the item is no longer eligible for a return. Please note that return shipping is at the buyer's expense, and we recommend using a tracked, insured service.
For full details, please see our dedicated ‘Returns’ page.
What if an item arrives damaged?
Please contact us immediately with photos so we can investigate and resolve the issue promptly.

How does consignment work?

Please contact us via WhatsApp or email with details and photos of your item(s). Once approved, we’ll provide instructions for delivery.
Do you authenticate items?
Yes. All items are carefully assessed to ensure authenticity. For designer handbags and high-value luxury pieces, we further verify authenticity through LegitApp, a leading certification service. By consigning with us, you confirm that all items submitted are genuine and not counterfeit.
Can you reject items?
Yes. We reserve the right to decline any item due to condition, authenticity concerns, brand, or market demand.
How do you determine the listing price?
We use a data-driven approach, looking at current market demand, the item's condition, and recent resale prices for identical pieces. Our goal is to price your item to sell, while ensuring you get a fair return.
Can prices be reduced if an item doesn’t sell?
If an item has not sold within a reasonable period, we may apply a price reduction of up to 10% to encourage a sale. Any reduction will not affect the agreed commission split.
What commission do you charge?
Our commission is calculated based on the final sale price of the item:
- Up to £499: 50%
- £500 – £1,499: 40%
- £1,500 and over: 30%
When do I get paid?
Payments are made monthly, on or before the 25th of each month, following the sale of your item and after the expiry of any applicable buyer return period.
How will I be paid?
All payments are made via bank transfer to a UK bank account registered in the consignor’s name.
Can I be paid to a different bank account?
For security and anti-fraud reasons, we can only make payments to a bank account held in the consignor’s own name.
What happens if a buyer returns an item?
If a buyer returns an item in accordance with our returns policy, the sale will be reversed and your payment will be adjusted accordingly.
How long is the consignment period?
Our standard consignment period is 90 days, starting from the date your item is accepted.
What happens if my item doesn’t sell?
If your item remains unsold at the end of the consignment period, you may request its return at your expense or discuss alternative options, such as a price adjustment.
Are my items insured while on consignment?
While we take great care in handling and storing items, consignors are encouraged to maintain their own insurance for items while on consignment.
What happens if my item is lost or damaged?
Evelyn&Fox is not responsible for loss or damage except in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct, as outlined in our consignment agreement.
